Rob has a broad practice in commercial litigation, with experience in class actions, competition and consumer law, contract, corporations, equity, and insolvency. Rob also accepts briefs in judicial review and administrative law proceedings, and environmental and planning law. He regularly appears both led and unled in hearings in the Federal Court of Australia and the NSW Supreme and District Courts, as well as other courts and tribunals.
Admitted as a solicitor in 2001, Rob graduated with a BA(Hons)/LLB from the University of New South Wales (2001) and holds a Masters of Law from Harvard University (2009). Rob was called to the Bar in 2014. Prior to that, Rob worked in private practice across multiple jurisdictions, for national and international law firms in Australia, Japan and the United States. Rob also worked for the Office of General Counsel with the Australian Government Solicitor, where he undertook work in relation to constitutional and administrative law, public finance law, and environmental law.
