Monica has a broad practice in commercial and public law, with a principal focus on equity, corporations, competition and consumer law, regulatory proceedings and class actions.

Before being called to the Bar, Monica was a Senior Associate at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan where she specialised in commercial disputes, class actions, regulatory investigations and white collar crime. Prior to that, Monica was an Associate to the Hon. Justice Gageler AC (now Chief Justice of the High Court of Australia) and the Hon. Justice Jacobson of the Federal Court of Australia.

Monica holds a Master of Laws from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Arts from the University of New South Wales.

Monica received the 2022 Katrina Dawson Award and the Christopher Gee QC Memorial Prize for Advocacy and Evidence for first place in the May 2023 NSW Bar Practice Course.
