Jane accepts briefs both led and unled in a broad range of commercial, corporate and regulatory disputes, Royal Commissions and federal and state corruption commissions.

Jane has been recognised as a leading junior barrister of the Australian Bar in the Legal500 Rankings since 2023 where Jane has been described as “practical, commercial, clever” and “an impressive advocate. She is well prepared and confident in her delivery. She is increasingly briefed in matters both unled and led (and with a speaking role when led).” Jane has also been recognised in Best Lawyers Australia since 2023 for Class Action Litigation and Commercial Law.

Prior to coming to the bar in May 2016, Jane was a solicitor in the Dispute Resolution Group at Herbert Smith Freehills in Sydney focusing on regulatory disputes and class actions. Jane has completed the Bachelor of Civil Law at Oxford University and a Bachelor of Laws from Edinburgh University where she was awarded the Margaret Balfour Keith Prize in constitutional law.
