Jane accepts briefs both led and unled in a broad range of disputes in the Supreme Court, Federal Court, as well as Royal Commissions and international commercial arbitrations.
Jane has been recognised as a leading junior barrister (Band 1) of the Australian Bar in the 2025 Legal500 Rankings where Jane was described as “an impressive advocate. She is well prepared and confident in her delivery. She is increasingly briefed in matters both unled and led (and with a speaking role when led).”
Since 2021, Jane has been recognised by the Legal500 as a Rising Star of the Australian Bar and ‘one to watch’ in Best Lawyers Australia since 2023 and 2024 in Class Action Litigation and Commercial Law.
Prior to coming to the bar in May 2016, Jane was a solicitor in the Dispute Resolution Group at Herbert Smith Freehills in Sydney focusing on regulatory disputes and class actions. Jane has completed the Bachelor of Civil Law at Oxford University and a Bachelor of Laws from Edinburgh University where she was awarded the Margaret Balfour Keith Prize in constitutional law.
