Kunal accepts briefs in all areas of law, with a particular interest in commercial disputes. He also regularly acts in regulatory and disciplinary matters.

Before coming to the Bar, Kunal was a Senior Associate at Corrs Chambers Westgarth and, prior to that, a Solicitor at Herbert Smith Freehills. In these roles, he worked on matters encompassing a wide range of complex, commercial disputes as well as regulatory investigations. Kunal was also an associate to the Hon Anna Katzmann (Federal Court of Australia) and has lectured in a number of commercial and private law subjects at the University of NSW.

Kunal holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of NSW, as well as a Bachelor of Civil Law and a Masters in Higher Education Policy from the University of Oxford, where he was a Rhodes Scholar.
